Hello,
What a great idea for a message board - long overdue! Thanks Doc for inviting me!
As a brief introduction, my name is Kevin Lentz. I have been actively collecting 3 3/4-inch toys from the 70s and 80s for twelve years, and run the 3 3/4-inch Archives at toymania.com.
I am currently working on a set of Star Wars first 21 carded (I have 5), as well as picking up previously-unmade original trilogy characters, such as the recent Cantina wave.
There are a few vintage non-SW carded figures I'm looking for right now (Black Hole Vincent, Gabriel Zorro, denim Pocket Heroes), but for the most part my non-SW collection is in pretty good shape.
I'm adding this board to my favorites, and will certainly check in here often. Thanks!

Welcome to the board Kevin! I am a big fan of your site, and stop by quite often!
Thanks for linking the board, we could definitely use some more traffic. The board is very new, but hopefully it will grow in time!
I have been seriously collecting toys for 19 years now (not including my childhood), and have quite a few vintage toys. I collect all scales, but definitely love 3 3/4" and thought this would make a fun board.

Kevin,
Nice of you to drop in... I can't tell you how many times I've visited your site for information or to look at the pictures. It's been a great resource.
I Collect 3 3/4" figures and have been at it since the end of 86 right about the time I got a job and decided that my Micropolis needed some more bad guy to attack the Micronauts.. So Cobra showed up, G I Joe started to defend, K B Toys started liquidating toys I wanted and the rest was history.
Hope to see you around.

Great to see you Kevin, I always appreciate your help, your site is on my favotits!
My friends (even non-toy collectors) get a real kick out of it.
Most of them had no idea about allot of these thing sbeing made into toys.
I have to tell you,3 2'3'4 stuff ruled my childhood. It all started with Adventure People and Micronauts then onto Star Wars. When Star wars mades its comback in 95 I dove into all the things I had as a kid.
Recently Kubricks (Crackbricks) have ruled my collecting along with Micros since I finish off the Vintage Star Wars I wanted, but thanks to this board I'm excited about the 3 3/4 guys again!
Its just funny seeing Ash stand next to a Cylon.
I think the Toy Co. are missing out here. Even if they kept a unique scale, if everyone had a 3 3/4 line with some of their toys they would sell allot more, IMO anyway, I don't think they realizw how much collectors love to see these guys mingle with each other! I hope I'm right and this board picks up!
Thanks again
TCM!
